Design*Sponge Craft Project

The great folks over at Design*Sponge posted a great project back in June for creating Faux Embroidery Quote Hoops. Instead of using a needle and thread, the crafty folks over there used iron-on transfer paper, typed sayings and used drop cap images to create little works of art.

What has me so excited is that they mentioned Reusable Art as a great place to find images for the project!

Seems like using iron-on transfer paper would work for anything, not just these quote hoops. You could transform a boring t-shirt or sweatshirt into a whole bunch of vintage goodness by decorating it with one or more great public domain images. The ideas would seem endless.
