Russian Painters – Abram Efimovich Arkhipov

One of the famous Russian Painters profiled on The Famous Artists is the Russian realist, Abram Efimovich Arkipov (1862-1930). He was educated at the School of Art, Sculpture and Architecture in Moscow. He was awarded the title of People’s Artist of the USSR.

His paintings often featured realistic and harsh scenes of women hard at work.
