Wrens are some of my favorite birds. Their perky tails and spunky ways always seem to provide entertainment. We’ve had several seasons where a flower basket on our front porch has been home to a family or two and this year appears to be no exception.
This colorful wren drawing appeared in one of the many wonderful children’s books published by Frederick Warne & Co. in the late 1800s. The plate printer was Joseph M. Kronheim but there was no indication who actually drew this charming little fellow.
The full-sized wren drawing measures 233px by 299px and like all of the vintage art to be found on Reusable Art is in the public domain.
If you use this or any other of the wonderful vintage illustrations from Reusable Art, be sure to let me know and maybe we can showcase your work here on Art Filled Days.
